The Hôtel de France et de Russie is a beautifully restored  former eighteenth century post-house, built of local Dordogne stone and situated in the centre of Thiviers, opposite the Town Hall and surrounding parkland.

This elegant, small luxury hotel, furnished with fine antiques offers you the charm, comfort and authenticity of a beautiful home. Set amidst pretty gardens with a terrace sheltered by fine trees the hotel is a haven of tranquillity and is open 7 days a week, all year round. English, French and Spanish are spoken.

There are ten light, spacious and individually decorated comfortable bedrooms and an attractive lounge bar and conservatory are also available to guests. There is WiFi Internet access in all bedrooms and guest lounge free of charge. Private guest parking is available to the rear of the hotel.

Meals are served in the dining room or on the terrace weather permitting. We prepare traditional dishes based on fresh local produce . If you would like to dine in the evening please inform us in advance of your visit.
